Analytics services

Six defined service lines, each with a stated scope, a stated deliverable and a stated turnaround. If a test does not change a decision, we do not sell it.

Service lines

What each service actually delivers.

Service 01

Product Verification

Does the product do what the label says it does?

We take your declared specification — label, batch record, purchase order or regulatory filing — and test the product against it line by line. The output is a reconciliation table showing every declared value, every measured value, and the variance between them.

Included

  • Specification intake and review
  • Line-by-line label reconciliation
  • Variance scoring against agreed tolerance
  • Adulteration / substitution indicators
  • Conformance verdict with reasoning

Turnaround

Service 02

Composition Analysis

A full quantitative picture of what the sample contains.

Proximate and constituent analysis run under calibration control, reported with measurement uncertainty. Use it to defend a nutrition declaration, characterise a new formulation, or establish a baseline you can compare future batches against.

Included

  • Moisture, ash, protein, fat, fibre fractions
  • Carbohydrate and mineral profiling
  • Declared-active quantification
  • pH, density, viscosity and colour metrics
  • Stated with measurement uncertainty

Service 03

Contaminant Screening

The tests that decide whether a consignment clears or is rejected.

Multi-residue screening against the limits that matter in your destination market. Panels are configured per commodity, and every result is reported against the numeric threshold rather than left for you to interpret.

Included

  • Heavy metals (lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury)
  • Pesticide and veterinary residue groups
  • Mycotoxins
  • Microbiological indicators
  • Migration and packaging contaminants

Service 04

Stability & Shelf-Life

Back your expiry date with a degradation curve.

Scheduled re-testing under controlled accelerated and real-time conditions. We model the degradation trend and recommend a shelf-life the data actually supports — and tell you when it supports a shorter one than you hoped.

Included

  • Protocol design and sampling schedule
  • Accelerated and real-time arms
  • Degradation curve modelling
  • Packaging interaction checks
  • Written shelf-life recommendation

Service 05

Comparative & Benchmark Testing

Your product, scored head-to-head against the alternatives.

Run your product alongside competitor samples or a reference standard on identical instrumentation, so differences are attributable to the product and not to the method. Delivered as a scorecard you can put in front of a board.

Included

  • Reference-standard calibration
  • Blinded sample coding
  • Attribute scorecard across metrics
  • Statistical gap analysis
  • Positioning summary

Service 06

Automated Reporting

Results in a format your regulator, buyer and database all accept.

Reports are generated from the instrument record rather than re-keyed, then versioned and retained. You receive a signed PDF for human review and structured data for your own quality system.

Included

  • Signed PDF analytical report
  • JSON / CSV raw-data export
  • Versioned report identifiers
  • Retention and on-request reissue
  • Method and calibration appendices

A metal riffler sample splitter dividing dried cocoa beans into alternating chutes, with kraft sample bags and a bulk pile of beans behind.
Sample reduction Riffler splitting a blended primary sample down to a working quantity before any measurement is taken.
Ground cocoa nibs in a glass weighing dish on a precision analytical balance inside a draft shield, with a drying oven blurred behind.
Gravimetric determination Oven-drying moisture on an analytical balance — the tolerance that decides whether a lot clears or is priced down.
Scope notes

What we need from you at intake.

The specification

A label, purchase spec, regulatory limit or internal target. Without a stated tolerance we can report numbers, but we cannot issue a verdict.

Sample quantity

Enough for the full panel plus a retained duplicate. If you are unsure of the volume, tell us the panel and we will confirm before you dispatch.

Handling constraints

Cold chain, hazard class, light or moisture sensitivity. These change the method, so flag them at request rather than at delivery.

Not sure which panel fits?

Describe the product and the decision you are trying to make. We will propose the narrowest scope that answers it — often cheaper than the test you assumed you needed.
